In the last years,programs and activities have been held in relation with the theme of"Empower Women in the Maritime Community".The paper firstly takes a background introduction and then presents the status of women in the Maritime Community.Then it analyses and discusses its significance from theoretical and realistic points of view.Finally,based on conclusion of advanced experience from international maritime community,the paper puts forward approaches to create more diverse,sustainable Asia maritime culture.
